I'm not going to be using this livejournal anymore, not that i have been in a long time... but if you're all interested, i have another one which i will be posting writing on too.. and hopefully other people will participate in my writing games! http://thegiftofstones.livejournal.com is my other one. woooooooh i got my computer fixed! happy day!

i've been away from live journal.. suffice it to say (because i dont feel like explaining) that i couldn't handle the commitment of posting to mine and reading other people's, but i have returned, at least for now! so rejoice! you have me back for now!

Some of you already know this, but for those of you who don't, in a couple months scott and i will be filing for divorce. this has been something we've struggled with for a few months now, and we feel it's just the only option at this point. we fully plan on remaining close friends, but we just cannot remain in a marriage relationship with one another! thank you all for your friendship and support.. we will both need it throughout this time! if you have questions for me or anything, feel free to ask.. love you all!

i don't know why i don't post to lj anymore.. i guess i just feel too self important when i do, even though i enjoy reading other people's live journals! eh.. so my life has been busy, though i do nothing terribly special. i've been going to lots of shows, 4 this week actually. on sunday we took miranda to see agnostic front and municipal waste at the magic stick because she wanted to see some boy who ended up not even being there. i got knocked into some tables and i have a SWEET bruise on my thigh and elbow and had a bit of a concussion.. so that was fun! *drips with sarcasm* monday we went to see Dangers play at the refuge in dearborn, and that was pretty fun! i got to see my friend dana before he left for seattle, never to return to our fair state if he has his way. scott got to meet him finally and was not impressed. i got into a fight with some boys about girls in bands and at shows, and i was called sexist towards women, which made me giggle. then frisbee was played. we went to the refuge again on thursday to see the conversions and some other bands and i got to know some of the people i met at monday's show better. friday we went to a house show that got broken up by the cops because it was in some swanky neighborhood in livonia and it was too noisy.. so we just hung out and played frisbee in the street for a while with the boys in attack of the... and under anchor. then we went to denny's in novi and ran into nate iverson and andrew and that was weird because i haven't seen them in forever, and since they live in lansing i was not expecting to see them at denny's in novi! so that was nice! last night and today have been lazy for me.. we're low on money because last week i paid the wrong bill by accident and basicly gave away 500 dollars which was supposed to go to phone/cable bills and y'know get us through the week.. but oh well.... friday i leave for pennsylvania with my mom for a family reunion. it's going to be weird travelling with my mom. it'll be the first trip i've taken with her since being an adult! it's going to be a looooonnnnnng trip! i am looking forward to seeing some of my extended family though! that should be interesting! i am using a lot of exclaimation points!!!!! haha i have more to say, but i don't feel like typing anymore and i keep losing my wireless signal.. blah! love you all!

I am at my mom's and i am bored. Scott is next door getting his hair cut. My back hurts. We were supposed to go up the the UP to hang out at our cabin this week, but Scott's parents told us we couldn't come because they have other company and we COULD stay in one of the cabins, but not with Vie... of course they tell us this once we're already at my mom's with vie.. so that's lovely of them. they are whores! we were thinking of going to iowa instead but we didn't and since we were already at my mom's it was too late to go to iowa. they are such whores! ugh!!!

so i never post on here anymore.. and i've neglected to read most of you friends ljs as well.. sorry.. so tonight i read over everyone's last 10 or so posts! i still love everyone and am sorry for being a crappy livejournal friend! i know, reading people's live journals is like the bare minimum effort one can put into a friendship, and i suck at even that! haha if anyone wants to hang out this summer, let's do it! HEY, carrie, brad, melissa! will this be the first summer we don't see one another all together???? brad.. are you going to be home at some point? i think i missed your last trip home.. :( So far this has been a pretty glorious summer. i've been meeting new people and hanging out with old friends and reclaiming some of my youth! YAY!

Scott and i are now the proud owners of a rustic cabin in the UP.. scott's parents gave us one of their fixer-upper cabins to use as we please. it needs some work, but it's in great structural shape! i will post some pics soon! it's awesome! so if anyone ever wants to stay there with us, it would be cool! also we have use of the other 10ish cabins so if anyone wanted to stay in their own cabin.. as long as there were vacancies (which there will be) people could stay in their own cabins too.. they're really cute! oh, and we're right on indian lake which is beautiful and the cabin is in the best location and the town is super cute in a creepy UP way! yay! hopefully by midsummer we'll get the cabin livable!

I had to go to my cousin's baby shower yesterday. it was the longest freaking baby shower in the history of mankind! it started off very awkward because well, i only knew my cousin tracy, my aunt judy, and my cousin steven's wife <the one for whom the shower was for. (oh and my mom was there as well..) i suppose as the long day progressed it got a bit better.. there were jokes made at my mother's expense, which are always fun.. and more jokes made about eating babies - always appropriate at a baby shower. i am dog sitting for my neighbor jan this week.. until wednesday. i have been staying here at her appartment because her dog is allergic to absolutely everything, so he can't come to my place. it's been weird staying at another apartment.. especially since it's right across the yard from mine! hehe it's very quiet here. y'know, with no cats and only the one dog and no scott. it's an eerie feeling. we're going to a comic book convention today, so i undoubtedly will meet some random semi-star to brag about later! woohoo!
